Abstract: Academic honors are the recognitions of scientistsí achievements from the scientific community and are the lasting impetus of scientists working on research. Academic honors hierarchically include citation, awards and eponymy, according to which professional scientists generally pursue their academic honors step by step. In China where science is preliminarily popularized, outstanding scientists should try to pursue higher academic honors after improving citation index (SCI).
