Abstract: To study the working mechanism of a high-efficiency hydrodynamic cavitation generator,the irregular cavitation patterns of a rotor-stator centrifugal hydrodynamic cavitation generator were investigated by experimental test and numerical simulation. The simulation result agrees well with the test result.
