A Study on the Patching-up of the Fragments of the Wuchangjing of Dunhuang ManuscriptsChinese Full Text

Abstract: According to our comprehensive investigation into the published images of Dunhuang manuscripts, there are 91 manuscripts of Wuchangjing in total, including 11 complete versions, and 80 remnants of fragments. Based on the comparative analysis of splicing broken characters, context continuation, hang kuan accordance, calligraphy style similarity, splicing the rubbing impression on the scroll, we patched up 27 pieces of remnant volumes into 12 groups.
