Abstract: 8-ydroxyquinoline was synthesized by the Skraup reactions,using o-nitrophenol,o-aminophenol and glycerol as materials,with concentrated sulfuric acid as the catalyst,as well as the assistance of microwave radiation.The optimized reaction conditions were as followings:(1)n(o-aminophenol):n(o-nitrophenol):n(concentrated sulfuric acid):n(glycerol)=10.52.35;(2)the microwave power was 500 W;(3)the reaction temperature was 160℃;and(4)the reaction time was 40 minutes.Under these optimizing condition...
