Abstract: Objective: To compare the effects of Gandou Ⅰ （GD, a Chinese herbal preparation） and dimercaptosuccinate acid （DMSA） in treating Wilson disease （WD）. Methods: Ninety four patients with WD were divided into 2 groups, 32 cases in the GD group and 62 in the DMSA group, they were treated with GD and DMSA respectively.
