Abstract: Objective: To compare the effects of Gandou Ⅰ (GD, a Chinese herbal preparation) and dimercaptosuccinate acid (DMSA) in treating Wilson disease (WD). Methods: Ninety four patients with WD were divided into 2 groups, 32 cases in the GD group and 62 in the DMSA group, they were treated with GD and DMSA respectively.
