Abstract: Objective: Identified the metabolites of resveratrol in vivo. Method: A method using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry( LC-MS-MS) analysis was established for the identification of metabolites of resveratrol. The rat urine and bile samples were pretreated by solid-phase extraction( SPE) method after oral administration at a dose of 100 mg·kg- 1of resveratrol. Result: Five metabolites were identified on their MS fragmentation behaviors by LC-MS-MS method with electrospray ionization( ESI) in negative ion mode. Conclusion: The results indicated the method could be used to rapid screen and identify the conceivable structures of active components responsible for pharmacological effects of resveratrol.
