Abstract: The technology of real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR is a newly developed technology based on the qualitative PCR. By adding fluorescent groups to the reaction systems, the intensity of fluorescent signals can be enhanced in the whole process of PCR. This technology has been paid more attention and widely used due to its advantages in terms of quantitative accuracy, high sensitivity and simple operation. In this paper, we described the principle, classification and application of real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR.
