Abstract: The Argonauts of the Western Pacific is one of the most influential ethnography in the anthropology′s field.It has four enlightenments in anthropological fieldwork: understanding the social-cultural significance of the human behavior in participation observation;analyzing the cultural phenomenon and human behavior must be completed from holistic view;field research must focus on four aspects,that is "diligent,careful,entire,deep";the selected subjects of observation must reflect the cultural overall significance of issues.
