Abstract: Through literature review and combining with visiting survey,a comprehensive and systematic research about resources and production status of Pinellia ternata was carried out.The wild resources of P.ternata mainly concentrated in Sichuan,Hubei,Anhui,Yunnan and Guizhou,cultivation quantity was mainly in Gansu,Shanxi,Shandong,Guizhou and Yunnan. The study will lay a foundation for collection,protection,production and development of P.ternatam.
