Abstract: The authors studies on the macro-theory and practicable design-method of the Harbin West Station as the first Transit Complex in northeast China. The railway station is designed together with the planning of related land-development. The traffic transfer and underground space design are introduced as important factors of transport hub and the main station architectural design is also analyzed in detail as a city-symbol in Harbin.
