About CNKI
In 1995, CNKI was established at Tsinghua University.
As the world's largest provider of Chinese academic information, CNKI has always positioned its corporate development to serve scientific and technological innovation, promote academic dissemination, and assume social responsibility. Rooted in the wisdom of tens of millions of outstanding scholars in China, CNKI provides one-stop digital resources including academic journals, dissertations/theses, e-books, newspapers, and conference papers to overseas users in over 100 countries and regions outside China, including more than 1,000 institutions.
New technologies are continually emerging, and the paradigms of academic research and knowledge dissemination and services are evolving. Leveraging its extensive experience in integrating 600 million Chinese and foreign literature and knowledge, as well as its close academic ties with tens of thousands of research institutions and organizations within China, CNKI strives to create a more comprehensive academic research service system. CNKI aims to offer global users diverse service directions covering AI-generated research tools, open science publishing, knowledge platform construction, research data processing, and research talent management. This is to empower the knowledge infrastructure of different countries and institutions, driving their innovation and development.
