Abstract: The tomb of the King of Boni is one of the only two tombs of foreign kings that are discovered so far in China. It is also one of the high-grade tombs dating to early Ming time discovered in Nanjing. While consulting the related historical literature, this study also examined the material evidences from high-grade tombs dated to early Ming, and compared them with the other tombs of the same time period.
