Abstract: John Ziman is a famous sociologist of science. He presents that the modern science is just from academic to post-academic, so the norms of science that presented by Robert K. Merton must be amended. Like evolution of biology, there is a natural selection and self-organization in the evolution of science. Science is not absolute reliable, but it still has reasons to be trusted for us.
