Abstract: The contention between scientism and anti-scientism has continued for a long time in the West, which is apparent in "the controversy between sciences and metaphysics" in 1922-1923 in China. The main purpose of this article is to open out predicament of choosing one or another in the modern China. It will in turn point out that we should insist on constructive Anti-scientism.
