Abstract: Perceived distance is one of the important factors that cause cross-language influence. For researching the relationship between English proficiency and perceived distance in perceptual phoneme, Uygur college students are selected as the research subjects, and a system of investigate about pure vowel/e/and diphthong/ei/is undertaken.
