Abstract: This paper uses the relative difference between the last revision of the Tourism Management Regulations of 31 provinces before 2013 and the Tourism Law to construct a Difference-in-Differences methodology to evaluate the impact of the improvement of the tourism legal system on the economic development of the tourist industry.
