Abstract: This paper, employing CiteSpace, visualizes and analyzes the studies on linguistic distance retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. The results show that linguistic distance research abroad has witnessed an upward trend in quantity, mainly distributed in the fields of business ＆ economics, linguistics and psychology.
