Abstract: In view of the problem of poor pollen fertility or abortion in potato hybridization, referring to the study of pollen-specific gene in tomato by Twell et al., four potato pollen-specific genes StLAT52s were cloned and analyzed by structure-function and relative expression. It was found that the cloned StLAT52s (StLAT52a, StLAT52b, StLAT52c, StLAT52d) were composed of 161, 169, 161, and 175 amino acids, respectively.
