THE BEGINNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF MARINE SEISMIC EXPLORATION IN CHINA

Abstract: This paper gives an account of the commencement and developing stages of marine seismic prospecting in China,its role in the discovery of oil-gas-bearing basins in Bohai Bay,Beibu Bay,Pearl River mouth,and East China Sea.The modern marine seismic prospecting technology and the problems to be solved are also stated.
