Abstract: 发展是马克思主义世界观和方法论的重要概念,既包括质变,也包括量变;既包括革命,也包括建设。但长期以来关注的侧重点在革命、在质变,对量变规律的探讨是其薄弱环节。以"可持续"为着眼点的科学发展观所探讨的,是社会在量变时期,即和平建设时期、执政时期的发展问题。科学发展观的形成,是马克思主义关于发展的世界观和方法论的重大进展。
