Abstract: The problem of air pollution caused by sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides relates to the development of the national economy, especially sustainable development.Ordinary absorbent only has a single removal function, not only tedious process, but the efficiency is not high.In this work,a polymer-supported peroxyacid was introduced to modify the common calcium-based sorbent, making it has both desulfurization and denitrification performances.Compared with low-molecular hydrogen peroxide,it has higher chemical stability, reducing the explosion and other safety hazards.Experimental studies were implemented for simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification from flue gas in a fluidized bed by the peroxyacids polymer-modified calcium-based sorbents.Various influencing factors, such as the content of additive, reaction temperature, the humidity of flue gas,SO2 and NOxinlet concentration et al,on the removal efficiencies of SO2 and NOx were investigated, and the optimal experimental conditions were determined. The new method extends current knowledge in the area of flue gas purification, and enriches the research content of desulfurization and denitrification. In comparison with traditional absorbents,it has shown favorable development prospects.
