Abstract: Traditional Literature Review doesn’t adapt to the era of large data. Therefore, it’s necessary to study and develop the emerging Systematic Review Methodology in order to promote the quality of education research in China. The paper explores the features, steps and values of Systematic Review Methodology in education by using case analysis method. The study finds that:(1) Systematic Review Methodology, driven by problems and using standardized documents selection and analysis technology, owns distinct function of knowledge innovation.(2) In operation, based on refining research problems through Traditional Literature Review, Systematic Review Methodology must execute six key steps: planning, retrieval literatures, evaluating literatures, extracting data, sorting date, and summarizing.(3) With the nature of standardization, creativity and affinity, Systematic Review Methodology has developmental value for the research subjects, researchers and research methodology itself.
