CNKI eBooks is a one-stop platform for gathering high-quality academic e-books published in China. It collects multiple Chinese academic works, focusing on research and progress of China in S&T and social sciences, and presenting authoritative academic achievements. This platform not only meets the demands of libraries to enrich collections and improve services, but also provides researchers with high-quality reading materials.

The collections were published from 1905 to the present, encompassing both valuable original historical materials from the Republican period and popular contemporary books. The database selects influential book series and masterpieces with typical documentary value. It collects more than 17,000 volumes (over 900 volumes in English), with an annual update of over 1,000 volumes. There are 10 disciplines and 141 sub-disciplines, covering hot research directions such as China studies, Chinese language teaching, traditional Chinese medicine, and China’s economy.
