Overview

Great Chinese Dictionary & Kangxi Dictionary integrates Great Chinese Dictionary, the Supplement to Great Chinese Dictionary and Kangxi Dictionary for the first time, forming a professional search platform and knowledge linage function to meet the demands of users to search and study the origin, pronunciation, interpretation and documentary evidence of Chinese characters in a one-stop manner.

At present, the Great Chinese Dictionary is one of the largest and highest-level Chinese reference books, collecting more than 370,000 words and about 50 million Chinese characters. It is famous for its accurate interpretations, complete meanings, detailed documentary evidence, and rigorous style.

The Supplement to Great Chinese Dictionary collects more than 30,000 single-character entries and multi-character entries, which mainly include new entries, revised entries, meaning supplementation entries, and evidence supplementation entries.

Contents

Kangxi Dictionary collects 47,043 characters, which is an agglomeration of all dictionaries in the previous dynasties. It was the first large Chinese character dictionary featuring numerous characters, large scale, high value and profound influence in ancient China.
